Microsoft is really dropping the ball on their dates. That or they are just the most unfortunate company ever. I reported, here on Mac Weekend this week that the Surface debut is the same day as the iPad mini.
Well, since then Google has announced their Android event. The date of that happens to be the exact same day Microsoft is debuting their win8 phones, Oct 29th.
You gotta wonder what in the world Microsoft is doing here. They are trying hard to become a legit contender, something they have failed on doing so far. So they make two major announcements in an effort to try to get into the market. In the process they are going to have their debuts totally overshadowed by Google and Apple.
This is bad news for Microsoft, and they really should have tried to do this better. I think it's safe to say Apple would have never made this mistake. There is a reason they are a huge player in the market, and Microsoft is an afterthought.
