It's been reported, here and elsewhere that new iMacs are soon to be released. Today's report from 9to5mac.com makes it clear that the timing for this announcement should coincide with the iPad Mini event. There still seems to be some uncertainty regarding when these new macs will be available for purchase. Also unclear at this point are specifics regarding the iMac upgrade.
Chinese site Weiphone.com, who has a checkered track record, has previously posted purported pictures of new iMac internals. These pictures if accurate suggest a completely redesigned interior, logic board, and other primary components. The big question on everyone's mind is still if the iMac will be going retina - with general consensus being that wont happen with this particular upgrade.
