Prineville data center under way

The Oregonian ran an article about the new data center that is being worked on in Prineville, OR.  Apple has now begun work on the first of the two massive buildings they are going to have there.

These buildings are each going to be huge.  Over twice the size of the average Costco.

This is a really cool area where data centers are hugely popular.  There is really cheap power prices and taxes.  In this area are data centers for Google, Adobe, Amazon and others.

It's going to be really cool to see what Apple is able to do when they have these centers under way.  They pure processing power they have can lead to a lot of really cool opportunities.
