Whew, that was a close one. It only took a couple of weeks for the much relied on street view function to come back to the iPhone 5. By going to www.maps.google.com and clicking on the little stick figure in the lower right hand corner, you can once again have Google Street View back on you iPhone. Thankfully, now that is out of the way, we can all go back to whats important, like the fact that it's a Starbucks morning, or you can get back to that important event that happened last night, what was it again? Oh yeah, that pesky presidential debate.
Meh... street view is lame IMO. This is big news because it'll take away one more thing that droid users can attack apple people for. My bet though is that despite all the negative shit people are saying about Maps - usage stats by early next year will show iOS users are overwhelmingly shunning all these other options.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. I do hate to admit though, there have been at least 2 instances in the last day that Apple Maps did not find what I was looking for. I still think Google Street View is useless and nothing but a "toy".
